Odds and Ends

Well, he and I talked about it, and we worked it out. No more drama, nothing to see here, move along.

I forgot to mention this earlier but my insurance needed to re-authorize my Lexapro before I could refill it (and of course I find this out on the day I run out). My pharmacist gave me a few pills to hopefully carry me thru the time it would take for the paperwork to go through. So come today, no letter in the mail saying it was approved. So I called my psych, seeing if they had samples, and no, they don't do samples anymore. I was a little freaked out: with surgery coming up and that can mess with moods the way it is, and then add a possible cold turkey withdraw from an anti depressant? So I call my pharmacist to ask him what to do, and lo and behold, they contacted him before me and he had it ready for me!

Then I get there, and then he tells me that he had to sell the pharmacy and his last day is Friday. I almost started to cry. This guy bends over backwards to help me out. I drive 10 minutes to use that pharmacy when there are two pharmacies within walking distance of my place. He sold the stuff to Walgreens, which is the closest pharmacy to my place, so it will be convenient for me, but still. This guy has been a life saver for eight years.

Hmm...what else.

Oh yeah, starting to have surgery dreams, since surgery is on Weds. I had two last night. Vaguely remember one of them, it was where I was at the hospital and I realized I wasn't wearing my lap surgery clothes. Then they wanted me to eat chicken broth before the surgery and I was like are you sure? I thought I wasn't supposed to eat before surgery? So that was odd.

Otherwise today I got my room cleaned up and the fridge and freezer cleaned out in prep for surgery. Tomorrow I have my preop in the afternoon and then errands around that.
