I've been posting a lot lately about different meds and different plans doctors and I have developed.
I know my readers are smart, intelligent people, but I still gotta say this:
I'm a blogger, not a doctor.
My experiences are my own. Every treatment option that I have tried/am trying/will try is because my doctor and I have talked about it and decided the benefits outweigh the risks FOR ME. I merely blog about my experiences. Even if I find a treatment that works wonders for me, it might not for you. And vice-versa. Just because Savella put me in the hospital does not mean you should stop it or start freaking out. Or all the other countless drug allergies I have. After all, just because I'm allergic to penicillin doesn't mean I'm calling for it to be abandoned. I mean, it'd totally screw up my MASH episodes. If you're concerned about possible side effects, talk to your doctor and/or pharmacist.
Be educated. Be informed. Be an advocate for yourself. Arm yourself with knowledge, not fear. Learn from others, but don't intimidate blindly.
Thank you. That is all. Now back to our regular programming.
Excellent post! Lova ya girl x
ReplyDeleteLove this. Love you! I think so many people forget that all we're doing is documenting our OWN journey's and quests for knowledge... everyone has to find their own way though!
